A few things clients commonly ask before their first call.
Every engagement begins with a discovery conversation, usually 45 to 60 minutes, where we map your current process, the outcome you want and any constraints on budget or timing. You then receive a written proposal covering scope, approach, milestones, commercials and assumptions. Nothing is billed until that proposal is signed, and the discovery call itself is free.
We offer fixed-price delivery for well-defined scopes and a monthly dedicated-team model for longer product engagements where priorities evolve. Fixed price suits most first projects because it gives you certainty; the dedicated model usually takes over once the product is live and the roadmap is continuous. In both cases you get an itemised estimate before work starts, with change requests priced separately and approved by you.
A focused web application or mobile MVP usually takes 8 to 14 weeks from kick-off to launch. A phased ERP implementation runs 3 to 6 months depending on how many modules go live and how clean the source data is. We commit to a milestone plan in the proposal and report progress against it every sprint, so slippage is visible early rather than announced at the end.
Every project includes 30 to 90 days of post-launch warranty support covering defects at no extra cost. Beyond that, most clients move to a monthly retainer that covers monitoring, backups, security patching, minor enhancements and an agreed response time for incidents. Retainers are month-to-month after the first quarter — we would rather earn the renewal than lock you in.
We recommend, you decide, and we explain our reasoning in plain language. Our default stack is Laravel with Vue or React, MySQL or PostgreSQL, Redis and AWS, because it is mature, fast, well documented and straightforward to hire for in India. If you have an existing stack or an internal team with different strengths, we build within your constraints rather than imposing ours.
We sign an NDA before discovery and keep client work in isolated repositories with access restricted to the assigned team. Applications ship with encrypted credentials, role-based permissions, audit logging, encrypted backups and protection against the OWASP Top 10, and we run a security review before every go-live. Production credentials stay with you; we hold only what is needed to support the systems you ask us to manage.
Both work, and the right answer depends on your internal capability. We can deploy into your own AWS, Azure or on-premise environment and simply hand over documentation, or we can manage hosting for you with monitoring, backups, patching and capacity planning included. Managed hosting from us typically starts at ₹8,000 per month for a standard business application, and you can move it in-house whenever you choose.
Yes. On final payment, full intellectual property in the custom code, along with the repository, documentation and deployment configuration, transfers to you. The only exception is our own licensed products such as Seven ERP or Seven CRM, which are supplied under a licence agreement; any customisation built specifically for you on top of them is still yours.
