UI/UX Design
Research-led interface design that makes complex business software feel obvious to the people who use it eight hours a day.
Overview
Business software is judged differently from consumer apps. Nobody chooses to use an ERP screen, and no amount of visual polish helps if the daily task takes fourteen clicks. Our design work starts with the person doing that task — what they need on screen, what they already know, and what they are trying to avoid getting wrong.
We interview real users before drawing anything: the stores clerk closing GRNs, the accountant chasing a mismatch, the field engineer filling a job sheet on a cracked phone screen in bright sun. Those conversations shape the information architecture, which we validate with clickable prototypes before a single component is built. Changing a prototype takes an hour; changing production code takes a fortnight.
Design systems, not one-off screens
Every engagement delivers a design system — colour and type scales, spacing rules, form patterns, table and empty states, error and loading behaviour, and responsive rules — documented so your team can add screens next year without the product drifting. Engineers get specifications they can build from directly, which removes the pixel arguments that slow projects down.
Accessibility is part of the standard, not an upgrade. Sensible contrast, keyboard navigation, visible focus, proper labels and sane touch targets benefit everyone, and increasingly matter for enterprise and public-sector procurement.
We stay involved during development, reviewing builds against the design and adjusting where reality demands it. Good design survives contact with implementation only if the designers stay in the room.
What’s included

- Accessibility review against WCAG 2.2 AA guidance
- Design-to-code handover with developer-ready specifications
Why it matters
Benefits
- New staff become productive in hours instead of weeks
- Fewer support tickets caused by confusing screens
- Expensive rework avoided by validating on prototypes, not production code
- A consistent visual language across web, mobile and admin tools
How we work
Our process
-
01
Research with real users and a review of current analytics

02
Journey maps that expose the drop-off points and dead ends
-
03
Low-fidelity wireframes reviewed and revised quickly
-
04
High-fidelity design plus a prototype tested with users
-
05
Design system delivery and hands-on support through the build
