Overview
About Seven Inventory
Inventory problems rarely announce themselves. They show up as an emergency purchase at a premium, a customer order shipped short, a marketplace listing oversold, or an annual stock-take that produces a variance nobody can explain. Seven Inventory exists to make stock a number you can trust at any hour of any day.
Scanning replaces paper
Receiving, put-away, picking, packing, transfers and counts all run through a rugged Android scanning app. It works offline — warehouse Wi-Fi is never as good as the plan said it would be — and syncs the moment it reconnects. Clients consistently report picking errors falling by more than half within the first month, simply because the scanner catches what a printed pick list cannot.
Traceability that stands up to an audit
Batch, lot and serial tracking runs through the entire flow, with FEFO picking enforced for perishables and pharmaceuticals. If a supplier issues a recall, a single report shows every customer who received the affected batch, with dates and quantities. Food, pharma and cosmetics clients tell us this alone justified the project.
Counting without shutting the warehouse
Rolling cycle counts scheduled by ABC classification keep accuracy high year-round, with variance thresholds, approval workflows and a full audit trail. Most clients cross 99% accuracy within a quarter and stop losing a weekend to the annual count.
Connected to everything else
Seven Inventory syncs stock and orders with Seven ERP, Tally, Amazon, Flipkart, your own storefront and courier partners such as Shiprocket. It can run as your complete stock system or as the warehouse layer beneath an ERP you already own.
Capabilities
Key features
Multi-Location Stock
Track quantities across warehouses, racks and bins with instant transfers, in-transit visibility and per-location valuation that reconciles to your books.
Barcode Operations
Receive, put away, pick, pack and count using an Android scanning app that works offline and syncs when the warehouse Wi-Fi comes back.
Batch & Expiry Control
Full lot, batch and serial traceability with FEFO picking, expiry alerts and one-click recall reports showing exactly which customers received a given batch.
Cycle Counting
Schedule rolling counts by ABC classification instead of shutting the warehouse for an annual stock-take, with variance approval workflows and audit history.
Smart Replenishment
Reorder points derived from real consumption and supplier lead time, with suggested purchase orders that account for pending inbound stock.
Channel Sync
Push available stock to Amazon, Flipkart and your own storefront, and pull orders back for picking, so overselling stops being a weekly incident.
